A Month-By-Month Overview of the Program

-Month 1: Admission – The first, most important and hardest step you will take on your healing journey is to fully admit to yourself, your family and friends without any hesitation that you have anxiety.  In this first month, we focus on letting all of the raw thoughts and emotions surrounding your anxiety come up and out.  To move forward, we first need to detox the negative energy blocks from your system, and that is what admission does so beautifully.

-Month 2: Affirmation – After we’ve purged the toxic feelings surrounding your anxiety, it is time to rewire the brain and reverse the negative thought patterns that have been replaying in your head and reinforcing your anxious symptoms i.e. I’m not good enough; I’m a failure; I’m crazy.  Positive affirmations are the perfect medicine for this.  Simple words and phrases can truly heal the garbage in your mind by instilling positivity, belief and confidence.  You will start to feel totally empowered in this phase! 

-Month 3: Meditation – How do we quiet the mind and silence the chaos in and around us on a daily basis?  Meditation, of course!  Healing from anxiety does not mean that all of a sudden your anxious symptoms will forever be gone.  On the contrary, you will still contend with some form of anxiety because it is a natural part of the human condition.  The good news is that you can stop your anxious thoughts from growing exponentially and getting the better of you.  By learning simple, time-effective meditation techniques, you will be able to stop the madness going on in your head anytime, anywhere.  That’s huge!

-Month 4: Prayer – The kind of prayer I teach in this program is not religious prayer.  However, it can go hand in hand with religious prayer if that is a part of your life.  The type of prayer I’m talking about here, though is affirmative prayer.  Instead of asking, begging and pleading for what you want, I am going to teach you how to restructure your language about what it is that you desire so that it will be attracted to you.  In this case, I’m sure what you desire is freedom from anxiety, and I can say with full confidence that you will get it with the help of affirmative prayer.  Releasing your desires to the highest universal power brings dramatic results, and there is no shortage of those in this program!

-Month 5: Diet/Nutrition – The cornerstone of what I teach when it comes to holistically healing your anxiety is how to make dietary and nutritional shifts for your mind.  Believe it or not, over 40% of stress in the human body is due to digestive stress.  That is a huge number, and if we can eliminate or nearly eliminate this statistic from our lives, then our anxiety decreases enormously as you can imagine.  Now, how do we do this?  Adopting a predominantly plant-based diet is key, and all throughout this month, I coach you on how to optimize your diet for the best mental health possible.  It is by no means a one-size-fits-all approach, so be certain that we will work towards integrating the best foods for you and only you in this part of the program. 

-Month 6: Supplementation – This is one of the most overlooked categories especially in relation to nutrition.  However, supplementation is critical to our mental, physical and overall health.  For those of us with anxiety, we need certain supplements to offset our symptoms.  It turns out that anxiety like any other disease or ailment is an expression of nutrient deficiency in the body.  With the right supplements, you will fully enhance that hotter-than-hot diet you are now rockin’ and give your body the goods it needs to cooperate with your glowing mind! 

-Month 7: Exercise – It’s funny; most of us are under the impression that exercise is for physical fitness a.k.a the body.  While that is true, exercise more than anything is actually for the mind.  When we exercise, our bodies release “feel good” hormones, or endorphins, that stave off any feelings of anxiety.  Exercise also breeds sweat which is essential in order to rid ourselves of the toxins that accumulate in our systems from everyday life.  Movement in the body allows for circulation of the lymph which then pumps out the poison inside.  We can’t just be taking in the good stuff; we’ve also got to release the bad to achieve freedom from anxiety in the mind and body, and exercise is the perfect opportunity to do just that!   

-Month 8: Yoga – Across the board, anxiety makes us feel bound up quite often if not all the time.  At first, exercise seems like a great idea to get rid of this uncomfortable feeling, and it is.  However, the benefits we receive from regular exercise only take us so far.  What yoga of any kind offers is a mind-body-spirit practice.  You are able to stretch beyond the limitations of your anxiety and literally feel the freedom that comes with letting go.  The energy inside of you is restructured in a way that promotes balance, inner harmony and glowing confidence.  You learn how to master your body with the power of your mind, thereby unlocking one of the most coveted secrets to kicking that bad anxiety habit.   

-Month 9: Experiencing Nature – Another reason why we feel bound by anxiety is that we rarely if ever spend quality time in nature.  So much of our lives are based in doors, and as a result, our minds are starved for fresh air, beaming sunshine and natural tranquility that only comes from being in the great outdoors.  Exercise is an excellent way to get outside, but it is not the only avenue to take.  From nature walks to laying out to reading a book in the grass, you can virtually do almost anything you want outside.  When you go back to nature, your mind heals itself because it recognizes the ethereal connection that is cut off when indoors and thus is put at ease.  

-Month 10: Creative Expression – People with anxiety are infinitely creative, but it can be really hard to recognize that when you are suffering immensely with a slew of anxious symptoms.  A big part of healing anxiety is finding a way to channel it into doing what you love and are most passionate about.  This month is all about uncovering your hidden talents, hobbies and love affairs to pinpoint where you are most creative and able to let out that anxious energy.  Once you start expressing yourself in a way this is uniquely you, you will forever be changed with this knowledge of how to turn your anxiety into a positive and make it work for you!

-Month 11: Fun with Fear – All of your gorgeous efforts have been building to this point when you finally get to have fun with one of your greatest fears.  I know; I know; on the surface, it sounds way too scary to even consider, but trust me; you won’t feel that you’ve completed the program until you’ve taken this major, final step.  At the root of all anxiety is fear, and to really take our power back, we need to be able to stare fear straight in the eyes and welcome it as a friendly, fun, fulfilling force in our lives.  Without our buddy, fear, we wouldn’t be motivated to take the most necessary steps in our lives, the ones that lead us to true greatness.  That is why in the 11th hour of this coaching experience, you will take one of the biggest fears in your life and find away to work around it using all of the valuable tools you have gained from the program.  If anyone can do it, you can, my darling.  You’ve got everything it takes right inside you, so do yourself a favor and let all that wisdom come busting out!  

-Month 12: Reflection – Before we end our year long journey together, it is imperative that we reflect on all the work that has been done.  In this final phase, you and I go back through months 1 to 11 and highlight the lessons, hard points, nuggets of juicy insight and most inspiring moments to honor and understand your magnificent transformation from an anxiety-ridden woman to a confident, spirited, empowered, radiant goddess.  What a life you now have in front of you with the knowledge you have acquired about these invaluable healing tools and most importantly about yourself.  No one can take this moment away from you; you did it!  Now, you can go forth as a genuine holistic hippie, armed and ready with holistic medicine to heal any and all of your anxious pains from here on out.
